Palatine Police Search for Alyssa Smith, Missing Since Chicago Trip

The Palatine Police Department is actively investigating the disappearance of Alyssa Smith, a 24-year-old woman who has been missing since September 30. According to her mother, Rebecca Smith, Smith went on a trip to Chicago with her boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, but never returned home. While Caso came back from the trip without her, police have stated that he has not been accused of any crime or wrongdoing.

Rebecca Smith has shared posts and flyers on social media pleading for her daughter's return. In a separate social media post, Caso reshared a missing persons poster for Smith with the message "Time to come home" and "No one is mad at you." The Palatine Police Department confirmed that detectives have been actively investigating Smith's whereabouts and following up on information regarding possible sightings since receiving the missing-person report.

Police reports indicate that Smith may have been seen on Saturday, October 3, in the Grant Park area, as well as near Cicero Avenue and Roosevelt Road. Investigators are currently working to verify these sightings and gather additional information on her current location.

Smith is described as a White female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, several body piercings, and numerous tattoos, including a "Pennywise" clown tattoo on her left shoulder. At the time of her disappearance, she was believed to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki-colored pants or sweatpants, and white Adidas sneakers. Her social media account indicates that she works at a Chipotle.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Caso and the Palatine Police Department for further comment. The police department advises anyone who spots Smith or has information on her immediate whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency or dial 911.
