Mia Goth calls Instagram AI image spread incomprehensible

Actress Mia Goth described it as "incomprehensible" that Instagram allowed an AI-generated image of her to circulate widely. The post appeared on the account miagoth_, which displays a blue verified checkmark, and featured Goth wearing a T-shirt with the text "MY EX IS MY BIGGEST FAN" in bold black letters. The post also included the Beyoncé song "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." A large number of users, including individuals in the entertainment industry, liked the image. Entertainment outlets, including OK! and People, reported on the post as if it were authentic. Screenshots of the image were subsequently shared across other social media platforms. This incident emerged shortly after news broke earlier this month that Goth had filed for divorce from actor and filmmaker Shia LaBeouf.
