Apple will begin selling its updated Apple TV 4K on Friday, November 13, marking the first new model in four years. The device is priced at $299, which The Verge notes is twice the original launch price of the 2022 model before it was raised to $249.

The new hardware features an A19 chip, replacing the A15 Bionic found in the discontinued 2022 version. Apple also states the device offers improved wireless connectivity compared to its predecessor. A key component of the rollout is Siri AI, which will operate in beta on second-generation Apple TV 4K models and newer devices. Additionally, a new Find My tracking feature is compatible with the second-gen Siri remote and newer remotes.
