Tiffany Stratton secured the women's Money in the Bank briefcase, becoming the second woman in WWE history to win the event twice. The victory grants her a guaranteed championship match, capping a chaotic ladder contest at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans that featured multiple severe falls involving competitors Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca and Lash Legend.
Stratton's path to the title shot was marked by an early, dangerous slip. Attempting a swanton dive from a ladder positioned outside the ring, she failed to gain sufficient momentum on the flip. Her legs struck the wrestlers below, but her head slammed into the padded ground. Officials immediately attended to her as the crowd fell silent, yet Stratton recovered and continued competing.
The match escalated in danger when Sol Ruca targeted Lash Legend, who was lying on a ladder wedged between the ring apron and the announce table. Ruca jumped from the turnbuckle and executed a frog splash that sent both women through the ladder structure. Legend writhed in pain on the mat while Ruca gathered herself on her back.
Jacy Jayne, who had told OutKick Dropkick she aimed to be "Jacy in the Bank" and had studied her opponents' tendencies, faced her own peril. While attempting to grab the briefcase with a ladder wedged between the ropes, Lola Vice applied a chokehold from behind. The two fell backward onto a perpendicular ladder, tipping it up and sliding down onto the floor. Both sustained visible injuries to their backs and were unable to factor into the final moments of the match.
The finish hinged on a sudden shift in momentum. Ruca and Stratton were fighting for advantage on a ladder when Jayne pushed it down from behind. Stratton narrowly avoided becoming tangled in the ropes, while Ruca hung onto the hook carrying the briefcase. Ruca dropped from the hanger, landing on top of Jayne, Stratton and Legend. Despite the collision, Stratton remained standing and claimed the briefcase.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque had predicted a high-stakes night before the event began. Stratton's win follows her 2024 victory, where she cashed in on Nia Jax to capture the WWE Women's Championship. With her second briefcase in hand, Stratton now holds a guaranteed title shot.
