Major League Wrestling star Donovan Dijak has described his participation in Banger Zone Wrestling's Watermania event as the "craziest thing" he has ever done in professional wrestling. The unique show took place at an aquatics center in France, where a ring was propped up in a pool, forcing competitors to grapple while slipping and sliding on a wet surface before taking bumps into the water.

Dijak said he initially discovered the event through social media, where he found the concept so unusual that he assumed it might be a hoax. When Banger Zone Wrestling contacted him to ask if he was interested in performing at a subsequent show, he decided he had to be there. He made arrangements to attend despite having a conflicting booking at Progress Wrestling, stating that he did not want to look back on his career with regret for passing up such an interesting opportunity.

During the event, Dijak noted that he was recording clips of the ring setup as a fan before stepping into the action. He captured the viral footage of the ring tilting and then returning to level. Approximately 20 minutes after recording that clip, he was inside the ring competing against Scar. Dijak admitted the conditions did not feel safe due to the sopping wet surface, but he emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the unique scenario.

The match focused on moves that utilized the aquatic environment. Dijak said he primarily wanted to perform strikes into the water and execute a headlock in the ring. He described chokeslamming his opponent off the top rope into the pool and performing a moonsault into the water as moments that could not be replicated in a standard wrestling ring. After these moves, the two brawled around the pool, with Scar attempting to drown Dijak as part of the sequence.

Dijak expressed hope that he will wrestle Scar again in the future. While he acknowledged that there is always risk involved in professional wrestling, particularly with a wet ring situated on a pool, he stated that the competitors were aware of these dangers going in. He said that once they began slipping around, their immediate instinct was to get to the pool quickly. He noted that while he would likely do it again if the opportunity presented itself, it was not something he would go out of his way to seek out due to the inherent risks.

Dijak is one half of the tag team known as The Skyscrapers. The team held the tag team championship for nearly a year before dropping the title to the Good Brothers. The Skyscrapers can currently be seen competing on "Fusion," which airs on Tubi, Veeps and YouTube.
