Stefan Caspari has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager, Fendt/Valtra & Product Management, as AGCO Corporation restructures its executive leadership. The change, effective immediately on October 5, 2026, consolidates key functions and reduces the senior team by one member.
Caspari, previously Senior Vice President, Customer Success & North America Ag, will continue leading the North American agricultural business while assuming global responsibility for the Fendt and Valtra brands. Torsten Dehner, the former Senior Vice President and General Manager for Global Fendt/Valtra and Product Management, is stepping down effective October 5, 2026. Dehner will remain with the company in Switzerland to support the transition.
Eric Hansotia, AGCO's Chairman, President & CEO, described Caspari as a proven commercial leader with deep experience across farmers, dealers and regional execution. Hansotia noted that Caspari has strengthened the North American ag business and brings the commercial discipline and market insight needed to lead Fendt and Valtra through their next phase of growth. Hansotia also thanked Dehner for his contributions over many years, citing his role in building teams, advancing the brands' market position, and helping advance the company's AI transformation.
Caspari joined AGCO in 2014 and has held senior roles in commercial operations, global strategy, smart farming technology and multi-brand governance. Prior to his current position, he oversaw AGCO’s Grain & Protein business through its transformation and divestiture. He studied Agricultural Engineering at the University of Bonn and completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
The broader restructuring assigns related responsibilities to existing senior leaders to link enterprise functions directly to brand execution. Luis Felli will become Senior Vice President and General Manager for Massey Ferguson, Parts & Customer Support, adding responsibility for the global Aftersales and Parts organization. Damon Audia will become President for PTx, Corporate Strategy & Distribution, taking on responsibility for the Global Distribution Management organization.
