WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield has called Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide the "hottest program in the world right now," lending veteran authority to what WWE's acquisition of the Mexican promotion — completed before WrestleMania 41 in 2025 — has quietly built over the past fifteen months.
Layfield, speaking to Fox News Digital, credited creative leads Jeremy Borash and the Undertaker with unlocking a property he described as a long-dormant "sleeping giant" the industry had consistently undervalued.
