Consumer electronics launch prices have a way of drifting upward once early-adopter momentum fades.
Trump Mobile's T1 Phone debuted at $499 and is now listed at $749, a $250 increase that appeared on the company's website overnight, with no public announcement. The phone's specifications are unchanged.
It ships with 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, the same configuration it carried at launch. No hardware revision accompanied the higher price.
Two Trump Mobile executives described the $499 launch price as "introductory" when asked about it earlier this year.
