Strategy's $2.8 Billion Bitcoin Gain Revives Accumulation Speculation

A Bitcoin rally fueled by heavy spot ETF inflows and a softer dollar has pulled Strategy's $BTC position back into the black, capping a volatile stretch that had left the firm roughly $13 billion underwater when Bitcoin sagged toward $58,000 in July.

At around $79,007 on Sunday, up approximately 1% on the day according to CoinGecko, the firm's 840,447 BTC was worth roughly $66.4 billion.

That puts the position about 4.4% above Strategy's average purchase price of $75,653, for a paper gain of approximately $2.8 billion.

Michael Saylor marked the recovery on X with a chart of the company's holdings and two words: "We're Back." The post sparked speculation on social media that Strategy is preparing to resume buying.
