Smart home hardware is moving through one of its more aggressive discounting cycles, with connected lighting offers outlasting the Prime Day event that produced them.
Against that backdrop, Philips Hue's four-bulb Essential starter kit has reached an all-time low of $79.99 at Amazon, $40 below the $119.99 list price that Philips Hue's own site still holds.
The kit bundles four white and color E26 bulbs with a Hue Bridge. Its current Amazon price matches what the two-bulb Essential starter kit previously sold for, meaning the extra pair of bulbs comes in at no added cost.
Where the discounting cycle stands Most of Prime Day's unusually strong Philips Hue offers have since closed. A handful remain active, and some have fallen further than they sat during the event.
