Ilhan Omar, stated he has no concerns regarding federal investigations into the Minnesota Democrat's immigration paperwork following a raid by Homeland Security Investigations agents on the couple's Washington, D.C., home.
Mynett told Fox News Digital that his wife arrived in the United States as a child war refugee at age 12. His remarks coincided with reports that Omar's relatives were issued subpoenas as part of the ongoing probe.
The New York Times reported on Tuesday that at least two of Omar's relatives received subpoenas, with one confirmed to be her sister, Sahra Noor.
Fox News has also learned that subpoenas were sent to multiple family members.
