Against the backdrop of mounting pressure on Western governments to build domestic critical mineral supply chains, Nova Minerals Corp (NYSE American: NVA | ASX: NVA) reported the arrival of approximately 500 tons of processing and refining equipment at Port MacKenzie, Alaska.
The barge departed Seattle on August 26 and reached Cook Inlet on September 6, carrying more than 40 containers and multiple oversized loads of crushing, ore sorting, milling, flotation and refining equipment.
The project runs on sovereign capital rather than private financing. A US$43.4 million award from the U.S.
Department of War under Title III of the Defense Production Act is fully funding the build-out, which positions Nova Minerals differently from peers navigating the current capex cycle on commercial terms.
