Mizuho cuts BitGo price target to $11 as Clarity Act delay becomes part of the thesis

The Clarity Act's congressional timeline has moved from background noise to an active variable in digital-asset coverage.

Against that backdrop, Mizuho cut its price target on BitGo to $11 while arguing that the legislation's delayed passage could prove advantageous for the crypto custody company, a stance that runs counter to the sector-wide default on regulatory uncertainty.

Mizuho's note pairs the target reduction with its characterization of BitGo as a high-growth, recurring-revenue business. The bank cites a 27% year-over-year expansion in the company's customer base.

Growth at that rate, sustained through unsettled regulation, is what Mizuho treats as evidence of underlying demand durability. The read-through for the broader crypto custody sector differs from Mizuho's BitGo view.
