Liquidity Services sets $2 billion volume target as surplus asset cycle firms

The secondary market for surplus corporate assets is drawing fresh attention as elevated borrowing costs push companies to shed idle inventory rather than carry it on stretched balance sheets.

Liquidity Services, the online marketplace for surplus goods and industrial assets, has projected fourth-quarter fiscal year 2026 GAAP earnings per share in a range of $0.30 to $0.39 and set a target of $2 billion in annual gross merchandise volume.
