Lane Kiffin's LSU Tigers beat Clemson 51-10 in Kiffin's debut as LSU head coach, putting up 644 total offensive yards including 309 on the ground on 58 attempts, while the Tiger defense held the visitors to 40 rushing yards and 3.0 yards per play.

Kiffin confirmed afterward that he had deliberately let the night's weather delay run long to keep Clemson confined to Tiger Stadium's visiting locker room.
