Enes Kanter Freedom, the 11-year NBA veteran who has formally declared for the 2027 WNBA Draft, was escorted from Wintrust Arena in Chicago during the third quarter of the Indiana Fever's visit to the Chicago Sky after a verbal altercation with Sky guard Natasha Cloud.
With the Fever holding an 81-75 lead at a third-quarter timeout, Cloud directed words toward Freedom, who was seated courtside. Freedom responded and stepped toward the floor.
Security intervened, removing him as the Chicago crowd responded with boos. Caitlin Clark's Fever won, 113-90. Freedom, who arrived wearing a shirt bearing the definition of "woman," had been present all afternoon.
