Iran's General Naqdi vows open-ended rocket campaign and warns US economic interests face destruction

Against the backdrop of ongoing conflict, Iran has signaled it will sustain its rocket campaign for however long the fighting lasts.

General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, a senior Iranian military commander, stated that Iran intends to keep launching rockets, and attached a broader warning about what follows if its stockpile were exhausted.

In his framing, a missile-depleted Iran grows more dangerous to the United States rather than less, because American economic interests worldwide are, as he put it, vulnerable to destruction.

Naqdi's stated logic The argument deliberately inverts a standard deterrence assumption. Exhausting a combatant's arsenal is usually read as a path to reduced threat.
