Google has officially confirmed the existence of the Fitbit Edge, a new fitness tracker that positions itself between the recently launched Fitbit Air and the more powerful Google Pixel Watch 5.
The device targets users experiencing smartwatch fatigue who still wish to receive notifications, serving as an answer to the aging Fitbit Charge 6.
The official specifications align with previous leaks, highlighting a 46 percent larger OLED display compared to the Charge 6.
The tracker also features a physical side button and measures 11.5mm in thickness, making it slightly thicker than its predecessor. Notably, the Fitbit Edge includes a replaceable battery.
