Glen Powell has stated that he will not participate in political debates, describing the current climate as divisive and unhealthy for conversation.
In an interview with Esquire, the "Top Gun: Maverick" star explained that he views political arguments as the worst version of a discussion, noting that people often engage only to prove a point rather than connect.
Powell said, "Over time, I realized that politics divide people," adding that he genuinely dislikes the discourse and finds it less healthy than it once was.
The actor emphasized that while he applauds those who fight for their beliefs, his personal calling is elsewhere.
