Disney Agrees to $50 Million Settlement Over Streaming Bundle Pricing Claims

The Walt Disney Company has agreed to a $50 million partial settlement in a federal antitrust class action alleging the company used its control of ESPN and other Disney-owned channels to inflate prices for YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream subscribers.

Disney denies any wrongdoing, and the court has made no ruling on the merits.

Eligible customers who subscribed to either service between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2026, can now file claims for a proportional cash payment.
