The incident and the immediate response Crosby landed two hits on Cousins' arm. The second was enough to draw a reaction from a quarterback described by people around him as typically mild-mannered.
Cousins went for Crosby, grabbed his jersey, and the two traded words at close range before being pulled apart. Head coach Klint Kubiak sent Crosby to the sideline.
