The 2026 list highlights restaurants across the country, though food historian Colin Caplan notes that defining the best pizza remains subjective.
Caplan, who is based in New Haven, Connecticut, told Fox News Digital that personal preference drives what many consider superior.
He described 50 Top Pizza as a respected, chef-based site that identifies top-tier establishments, while suggesting the organization may hold a bias toward styles aligned with its Italian roots, such as Neapolitan.
